Product Tip: Canon SX20 IS is a Quality Digital Camera

I bought a digital camera in 2005 that was great for then... it was a 4 megapixel camera and I probably paid about $245 for it.

Flash forward to 2010 and you can get a get an 8 megapixel camera such as the Sanyo Xacti VPC-S885 Blue 8MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom, 2.7" LCD, Face Detection for $59! Times have certainly changed.

So recently, I started researching Canon cameras and I was specifically looking for one that shoots video but allows you to zoom in and out. The camera that came up was the Canon Powershot SX20 IS 12.1MP Digital Camera + 8GB Deluxe Accessory Kit.

Great Deals at Wal-mart on Danskin Now line

I was just in Wal-Mart on Saturday and decided to see what items were clearance. To my surprise there were FIVE rackes with sportswear for $3 and $5. This included the Danskin Now activewear line which I am fond of for workout gear.

From pants and shorts to tops and tanks there were so many options for $3 bucks. I picked up two tops that were labeled $5 but rang up for $3.

If you have a Wal-Mart nearby - stop in today. I believe they are in between seasons and the clearance is to make way for spring attire. This is probably true for other stores such as Old Navy. Now is a great time to shop and save!

Find Yourself

Type your name into an Internet search engine and see what comes up. If you determine someone is using your name fraudulently online, you have recourse. Contact site administrators about immediately correcting or removing the incorrect or offending information.

Watch Your Wallet or Purse

Keep your wallet or purse in a safe place at all times. When you are out in public, carry them on your person and do not leave them unattended.

Limit Your Load

Carry only the personal identification, credit cards and debit cards that you need. Store little-used identification and cards in a secure location. Also, keep your Social Security card in a secure place and give out your SSN only when absolutely required.

Take Action


It's important to act quickly if you suspect identity theft has occurred. Place a "Fraud Alert" on your credit reports and carefully review the reports. Close any accounts that have been compromised. File a police report to help with creditors who might want proof.
